Destiny 2’sSeason of the Wish has resolved its narrative questline this week with a new story mission and cinematic. This week also brings with it some new Seasonal Challenges to help players explore some of this season’s content with the added context of this season’s finale. These challenges are also a great source of XP and Bright Dust.

This week, players will need to defeat enemies in ritual playlists, acquire the Chivalric Fire ritual weapon, and land Super final blows in Mayhem. This guide will cover all nine challenges added this week, their rewards, and provide tips on how to complete them as efficiently as possible.

Reward

This week marks the final series of steps for the “Wishing All the Best” mission, culminating in a unique story mission and a touching cinematic.Be sure tograb the final Starcat during the “Chiasmus” story mission.Complete all of the listed steps to complete this Seasonal Challenge and Season of the Wish’s questline.

Swift Dispersal

Swift Dispersal:Rapidly defeat combatants in Riven’s Lair or The Coil. Gain additional progress from final blows within The Coil. Additionally, collect Wishing Glass Shards in The Coil.

The Wishing Glass Shards objective is retroactive.

Swift Dispersal requires you toachieve 50 multikills in Season of the Wish content and collect 500 Wishing Glass Shards in The Coil.Thankfully, that second objective is retroactive, so anyone who’s played The Coil multiple times this season should have this finished already.

For the multkill objective, use any weapon with AoE capabilities—Voltshot weapons, Sunshot, Graviton Lance, etc. As for the Wishing Glass Shards, you’ll want tolook out for glowing pots during each jumping section.Break every pot you find to unlock the hidden chest room. Rinse and repeat.

Dragon’s Defender V

Dragon’s Defender V:Defeat targets with Trace Rifles or Linear Fusion Rifles. Gain additional progress from Guardian final blows and final blows within Riven’s Lair or The Coil.

You’ll need todefeat 125 enemies with Trace Rifles or Linear Fusion Riflesfor this challenge. These kills can be made anywhere, butseasonal content and PvP grant double progress.We suggest farming Riven’s Lair or The Coil to get this done quickly, as both activities have high enemy density.

Destiny 2 A Guardian Wields Ager’s Scepter Exotic Trace Rifle.

As for weapon recommendations,you can’t go wrong with Wavesplitteror Prometheus Lens for PvE. Crucible players are better off using a Special Linear Fusion Rifle like Arbalest or Lorentz Driver.

This challenge is retroactive.

Chivalric Fire is Season of the Wish’s ritual weapon, awarded by reaching Rank 16 with Commander Zavala, Lord Shaxx, or the Drifter.Consult our Chivalric Fire guidefor exact information on how to obtain this weapon, its ornaments, and learn of its unique perk combinations.

Expedited Violence

Expedited ViolenceRapidly defeat targets in Crucible, Gambit, or Vanguard. Bonus progress is granted for Guardian final blows.

Land 25 multikills in any ritual activityto complete Expedited Violence. Viable activities include Vanguard Ops, Nightfalls, any Crucible playlist, and Gambit. We recommend playing Nightfalls or Gambit for this challenge, as both activities feature high enemy density and are tied with other Seasonal Challenges.

Weight Of Dreams

Weight of Dreams:Get final blows with weapons using Heavy ammo in ritual activities. Earn bonus progress for Rocket Launcher final blows or by defeating Guardians.

Defeat 150 enemies with Heavy ammo in Vanguard Ops, Crucible, or Gambitto complete this challenge. If you use a Rocket Launcher or defeat a Guardian, you’ll gain twice as much progress.

Destiny 2 Crucible

Machine Guns are ideal since they have excellent ammo efficiency, capable of clearing hundreds of enemies before running out of ammo. If you want to use a Rocket Launcher instead, Dragon’s Breath and Eyes of Tomorrow are solid options.

Flourish Of Power

Flourish of Power:Defeat Guardians in the Mayhem playlist with Super abilities.

Darkest Nightfall

Darkest Nightfall:Complete any Nightfall strike on Hero difficulty or higher. Bonus progress is granted for completing Nightfalls above Hero difficulty.

Darkest Nightfall tracks how many Nightfalls you’ve cleared since Week 7 of this season. For this particular challenge, you mustcomplete four Nightfalls.Higher difficulties grant bonus progress, with a GM Nightfall completing the challenge outright when completed.

Destiny 2 Stasis Subclass Supers

We recommend farming Adept difficulty for more casual players, as this difficulty features matchmaking and minimal Champions. For more experienced players, try Master or GM difficulty.

Mid-Range Calibration

Mid-Range Calibration:Calibrate mid-range weapons—Hand Cannons, Glaives, Auto Rifles, Fusion Rifles, and Machine Guns. Bonus progress is granted for defeating Guardians

Land 400 final blows with a mid-range weaponto complete this challenge.We recommend using Hand Cannonsand Machine Guns for this challenge due to their ease of use. Some good options include Sunshot, Thorn, Thunderlord, and nearly all Legendary Machine Guns.
