Last Wish Resonance

Our Recommendation

If you’ve never played Last Wish, we recommend you getApex Predator. It’s a meta Heavy weapon for PvE DPS in endgame activities. Craft one with Reconstruction and Bait and Switch.

Exotics

Armor obtained this way is randomly rolled. Stat biases are determined by your equipped Ghost Shell mods and any intrinsic plugs the armor has. See ourhigh-stat armor guidefor more information on how armor stats are calculated.

You donotneed Lightfall ownership to purchase or use these Exotics, although any Exotics that modify Strand (such as Cyrtarachne’s Facade) won’t be of any use.

Exotic Perk

Cadmus Ridge Lancecap

Arbor Warden

Barri-Nade:Using your class ability channels defensive Light inward, providing a grenade that creates a barricade on impact.

Miscellany

New players should purchase anExotic Cipher, as it can be used to purchase specific Exotic Weapons from the Exotic Kiosk in the Tower. Some good options include Quicksilver Storm, Polaris Lance, Leviathan’s Breath, Traveler’s Chosen, and Witherhoard.

Veteran players should purchase holiday mementos since they’re extremely limited in supply. Ascendant Alloys are also a solid choice if you dislikerunning The Coil.

Riven’s Wishes I

Riven’s Wishes I requires you tocomplete three instances of the Rift Generator public event, located in The Strand portion of the Dreaming City. It’s the only public event that can spawn in The Strand, so periodically check the map to see if the event is about to start. The Heroic version counts as two clears.you may start the Heroic version by destroying three Taken Blights that spawn halfway through the activity. Kill the Wizards that spawn, then eliminate the boss.

The second objective requires you tocomplete activities in the Dreaming City.Based on our testing, each activity is worth the following progress:

7%

Destiny 2 Apex Predator Icon

Legend and Master

Destiny 2 Chattering Bone Icon

Unstable Charge Version

Because of these fairly low values,we recommend farming the Aphelion’s Rest Lost Sector in The Strand.Equip a Strand subclassand use the Grapple grenade. When you enter the zone, grapple up the ledge to your left. This will give you a clear view of the boss. Kill them, loot the Lost Sector chest, then leave. Repeat until you finish the objective.

Riven’s Wishes II

The second quest requires you toopen three Ascendant Chests in the Dreaming City. There are ten chests available per week, changing as the Dreaming City curse evolves.Generally, you can find an Ascendant Chest in each Lost Sector and patrol space—Divalian Mists, The Strand, and Rheasilvia. Check out ourAscendant Chests guidefor more information on where to find all 30 chests.

To open an Ascendant Chest, you must firstconsume a Tincture of Queensfoil. It’s located in your “Inventory” tab under “Consumables.” Once used, you will be able to see Dreaming City secrets for 30 minutes, notably Ascendant Chests.Keep your eyes peeled for floating platforms. You can open each Ascendant Chest once per character per week.If you have multiple characters, you only need to find one unique chest.

Buying Tinctures

Should you run out of tinctures, you can purchase more from Petra Venj in the Dreaming City. Each Tincture of Queensfoil costs five Legendary Shards.

Riven’s Wishes III

Riven’s Wishes III requires you todefeat combatants in Legend and Master Lost Sectors. If that Lost Sector happens to be in the Dreaming City, you’ll gain bonus progress. You only need to eliminate enemies to receive credit; you don’t need to clear the Lost Sector. All enemies in the Lost Sector are worth the same number of points. You need a total of500 pointsto finish the quest. The exact points earned per kill are shown below:

3 points

Destiny 2 Techeun Force Icon

5 points

4 points

Destiny 2 Tyranny Of Heaven Icon

6 points

Each day, one Lost Sector is turned into a Legendary Lost Sector, allowing you to clear it on Legend or Master difficulty.Look for the planet with a Lost Sector icon on your Director. So long as you cleared the Lost Sector at some point, you should see a flag right outside the Lost Sector’s entrance. This is where you may opt into a Legend or Master clear. Boot up the mission, kill the enemies within, and repeat.

Surges and Overcharge

Singes and Overcharge weapons are active in Legend and Master Lost Sectors. Elements that match the Lost Sector’s singe will deal more damage. Alternatively, you’re able to make your weapons Overcharged by selecting Anti-Champion perks in your Artifact. For example, Overload Pulse Rifle will give your Pulse Rifles the Overcharge tag, increasing their damage output in endgame PvE content.

Singes and Overcharge do not stack, and each modifier provides a 25% damage buff. Singes buff abilities as well, not just weapons.

Riven’s Wishes IV

Mara Sov will task you withcompleting waves of Blind Well in the Dreaming City.you’re able to find this activity near the center of the map, located straight from the Divalian Mists spawn point. You can also matchmake into a Blind Well activity from the Dreaming City map itself.

In addition to landing combatant final blows, you’ll also need tocomplete a T3 Blind Well. This requires you to deposit a T3 Charge of Light. You can obtain these charges from Petra Venj. Each charge costs 7,000 Glimmer. Petra’s bounties and Dreaming City content also have a small chance of dropping Charges of Light.

You donotneed to deposit an Unstable Charge of Light to complete this second objective, although doing so will award bonus loot at the end of the activity.

As for the kill objective, you musteliminate 900 enemies in the Blind Well. While Blind Well does have fairly high enemy density, it is impossible to complete this in a single T3 run. It will take on averagethree to four T3 Blind Well clears to finish this objective.

Riven’s Wishes V

This week’s quest asks you to completeone of the listed objectives. You don’t need to complete both of them. While in the Dreaming City, you must either:

Taken Minibosses

For consistent Taken miniboss kills, we recommend farmingThe Corrupted Strikein the Dreaming City. Load up the start of the mission, eliminate the Taken enemies, and then relaunch the activity.

The Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector doesnotgrant progress.

If you are attempting this wish and don’t mind waiting a few minutes, you’re able to actually finish this objective in Rheasilvia itself.Head to the overlook roughly two minutes before a Public Event begins. The Scorn and Taken will be fighting one another, and most of them will be tagged as minibosses. Equip your best Special weapon and take them down.

How To Spawn Pauurc, The Farseer’s Heir

This boss typically spawns while the Scorn and Taken are actively fighting each other. Pauurc cannot spawn while a Public Event is active in Rheasilvia.

Pauurc is a hidden Dreaming City boss that must be spawned during a certain time frame. While in Rheasilvia, you will need to wait for this text to appear:“A Saboteur wanders the Dreaming City.“Once that text appears,a taken miniboss will spawn either right outside Harbinger’s Seclude or on the Rheasilvia overlook bridge.Hunt down the Taken saboteur and kill them.

Once slain, the saboteur will drop an Awoken Charge, the same orb used in The Corrupted Strike. You mustgrab the orb and run into a pool of light. They will typically spawn near the entrance to Harbinger’s Seclude. Once charged, you have roughly two minutes to deposit that charge on a small island located on the eastern edge of Rheasilvia. It’s the island with a massive Awoken statue (shown above).

If you deposit the charged orb fast enough, you should see the message “Pauurc, the Farseer’s Heir, has come to collect.” This will start the boss fight. Head back to the cathedral to fight the Taken Ogre. As before, you musteliminate Taken Saboteurs to create Awoken Charges that can break Pauurc’s shield. You don’t need to charge the orbs this time; throw them straight at Pauurc. Break the Ogre’s shields, then deal as much damage as possible. Repeat until the boss is slain.

Riven’s Wishes VI

Riven’s final wish is for you tocomplete every encounter in the Prophecy dungeon. This dungeon received a loot refresh in the March 5 update, overhauling the Prophecy loot table with new weapons, perk pools, and an exclusive origin trait. The dungeon itself hasn’t seen any changes with this update; it’s just as easy as before.

If you haven’t conquered the visions of the Nine yet, give ourProphecy dungeon guidea read. It covers how to clear every encounter in this dungeon, including the Phalanx Echo, Hexahedron puzzle, and the Kell Echo fight. This dungeon was made before Subclass 3.0 and Resilience DR were a thing, so it should be fairly easy to solo by today’s standards.
