One of the unique aspects ofHonkai: Star Railis how various events work in the game. While some events are time-limited, most big events are saved in the Conventional Memoir once their time ends and any new player can play them once they fulfill the eligibility criteria.

Critter Pick is one such event, first launched during the Version 1.6 update. While doing this event, you’ll encounter a three-part puzzle challenge where you have to guide Peppy through the map without getting detected by other mobs, and here’s how you can easily finish it.

Difficulty One Walkthrough

The start of the first difficulty in It All Started With A Man And A Dog is quite straightforward, and youjust have to go ahead and defeat a few enemies to save Peppy. After that, follow Peppy until you reach a damaged doorway and investigate it to start controlling the puppy. Follow these steps once you’re synced up:

Here, you have an optional task to locate Ruan Mei’s creation along the way, butyou have to fulfill this task if you want to get all the Jades. To do this, follow the path while collecting origami until you reach a big room where you’ll see a white creation that you met during the main story. Interact with it to finish the optional task.

In the end, you’ll have a small puzzle where you have toreach the final platform while stepping on each platform in the way once. Follow these directions to finish it: Up - Up - Left - Down - Down - Left - Up - Up - Up - Right - Right. Talk to the creation at the end to finish the first difficulty.

Difficulty Two Walkthrough

In the second part, you have to talk to Peppy once again anddefeat a couple of Antimatter Legion enemies before you get to sync with it. As soon as you start controlling the dog, you’ll first be challenged by another platformer puzzle, and the directions for it are: Left - Left - Up - Up - Up - Right - Down - Down - Right - Right - Down - Right - Up - Up - Up - Left - Down - Left - Up.

After solving the puzzle, you’ll have to get to the next room where youjust have to dodge one enemy and cross the bridge in the middle. Follow these steps once you enter the room after that:

The second difficulty ends aftertalking to another Ruan Mei’s creationand then the Trailblazer.

Difficulty Three Walkthrough

The third difficulty lets you control Peppy quite fast, but the first part is straightforwardwhere you have to interact with a robot and get the doors open. After that, you have to head into a giant room and confront Butler, but you’ll need to collect some evidence for that since the creation will refuse to cooperate.

You’ll enter the Peppy point-of-view once again here and have to do a few things:

In the debate, you have tocounter three statements from the evil creation to make it guilty. In the first set of statements, move to the third dialogue and choose Abnormal images from surveillance records as evidence. In the second and third sets, move to the second dialogues and chooseCosmic Fried Rice and External Communication Records respectively.

This will end the debate and you’ll be able to take the Curio from a location nearby. Bring the Curio back out andyou’ll beat all the difficulties of this puzzle.
