If your Sims are looking to venture out into the unknown, then look no further thanThe Sims 4: Jungle Adventure. This game pack has an entirely new destination world to discover in Selvadorada, with plenty of hidden secrets and adventures to play with.
One of the new features the game pack comes with is the new collections you’re able to gather for your household. This is the Omiscan Artifacts and Omiscan Treasures, special collections that you can’t find anywhere else but in Jungle Adventure. Once you know how to get these treasures, it will be just a matter of time before your Sim can enjoy them all.
What Are Omiscan Artifacts And Treasures?
Omiscan Artifacts and Treasures are special collectibles from Selvadorada that your Sim can display. They are two of the household collections that your Sim can complete.
The Omiscan Artifacts are a collection of archaeological artifacts that are from an old culture in Selvadorada, the Omiscan. It includes items likevases, skulls, and knives.
The Omiscan Treasures are important and expensive items from Omiscan culture. It includesgold frogs, or pererecas, andgold calendar plates.
Both collections are able to be displayed anywhere your Sim would like.
How To Get Omiscan Artifacts
Omiscan Artifacts can be found in thejungles of Selvadorada,bydigging up excavation sitesandopening treasure chests.
Your Sim will need to book a vacation to Selvadorada, which they can do by using the phone. Click on theTravelicon, and chooseTake a Vacation. You can stay at any rental lot.
Once in Selvadorada, the entrance to the jungle is at theBelomisia Trailhead. Travel to this lot and find thelarge ancient archway covered in vines. Click on it and choose toClear a Pathwith either your hands or the machete your Sim was given when they arrived.
You’ll get a pop-up event that will bring you to the next area.
Dig Up Excavation Sites
From here, you can begin looking for artifacts by choosing toExcavatethe dig sites. These piles of dirt are found all around the jungles, and digging them up can give you Omiscan Artifacts.
Keep following different paths into the jungle to find more of the dig sites to excavate. There is typically at least one dig site per area.
If your Sim has the Archaeology skill, they can also survey for dig sites. Click anywhere on the ground and chooseSurvey for Dig Pile.
You won’t know what artifact you dug up until you get to anArchaeology Table. They appear in your inventory as dirt clumps and unauthenticated artifacts.You need to be level three in Archaeology to use the table. At the table, choose to examine whatever artifact you’d like.
Open Treasure Chests
Eventually, as you navigate further and continue to clear paths, you’ll be led to The Temple. Inside of here, as you continue to bypass traps and solve riddles to go deeper,you’re able to find treasure chests to open.
The Temple is tricky to navigate. Continue to examine objects around the rooms and try different solutions to continue to bypass the gates.
Having highFitnessandLogicskills make the puzzles easier to solve. Try leveling them up before heading to the jungle. You’ll be more successful when examining objects.
Once you’ve found a treasure chest, all you need to do is click on it to open it. Treasure chests contain a random artifact inside.
All Omiscan Artifacts Available
There are16 Ancient Omiscan Artifactsavailable. Here are all of them, along with their rarity and descriptions. The value varies for each item, and there is no set price to sell them for, unfortunately. However, the rarer they are, the more they are worth.

Bronze Harvest Knife
The most basic Omisca tool. This was used to harvest fruits of the jungle.
Common
Quartz Skull
Meztli, Chief of the Third Season. Not the greatest of the Omisca chiefs. He demanded to be immortalized after claiming to be the inventor of the banana.
Stoneware Omiscan Vase
Fired in hot kilns to give this vase longer use. A side effect of this process make the vase aesthetically more pleasing.
Terracotta Cetlcitli Statue
This terracotta statue depicts Cetlcitli, the Omiscan spirit of crop preservation and longevity.
Terracotta Mask of Khaas
The Omisca dreamed of the ability to change their facial features at will. The best they could do was to use a Mask of Khaas to simulate a new set of facial features.
Terracotta Omiscan Vase
A simple earthenware vase given some special artistic attention to make it stand apart from a hole in the ground.
Amazonite Harvest Knife
The Omisca who owned this tool decorated it with Amazonite. The blade is dull. The owner cared more about the looks than the function.
Uncommon
Decorative Omiscan Vase
The Omisca didn’t have refrigerators. The equivalent of putting your art on the fridge was to paint on a vase. Even in modern times this is art any parent would be proud of.
Painted Cetlcitli Statue
The Omiscan people believe that placing a statue of Cetlcitli in a stone box with their food would keep that food cool and help it last longer.
Smokey Quartz Skull
Itotia, Chief of the Second Season. Immortalized after choreographing the hottest dance craze to ever take over the Omiscan dance scene. The Rumbasim.
Turquoise Mask of Khaas
The Omisca had a saying. “If you can’t change your face, paint it.” That saying is represented with this Turquoise Mask of Khaas.
Amazonite Skull
Yolotli, Chief of the First Season. Remembered forever as the greatest of the Omisca fighters. It is said he once fought off an assault of three dire chinchillas at once.
Rare
Gold Harvest Knife
Used only during sacred harvest festivals. Golden Harvest Knives would be used to carefully collect rare emotion berries.
Golden Cetlcitili Statue
This statue of Cetlcitli is cool to the touch. Its expression is magnetic. One can’t help but to want to have multiple statues of Cetlcitli placed in one’s home.
Golden Mask of Khaas
A beautiful mask. However, it was not very functional. Wearing this mask resulted in many neck injuries due to the sheer weight of this mask.
Golden Omiscan Vase
This vase was not common for practical use. Sure it was beautiful, but it was also really heavy. No one ever thinks of how heavy gold is when making large vases.
You can check your progress toward the Omiscan Artifacts at any time by looking at your Household Collections. Open up your Sim’s Inventory and click the button with the diamond icon to open it. Scroll down until you find Ancient Omiscan Artifacts.
For completing the collection, you’ll be given aWhat’s Old is New Again Plaqueas a reward.
Be aware that often times when Sims are at the Archaeology Table examining artifacts,they can turn out to be fakes. These sell for less and have funny paint on them.
How To Get Omiscan Treasures
The only way you may obtain Omiscan Treasures is toreach the bottom of The Templeby exploring and surviving traps.There will be a special gilded chest that contains a random Omiscan Treasurein the treasure room.
Once you’ve reached The Temple, you’ll need to bypass the archways with hazards in them to go lower.Examine objects around the room, and they can give you clues.
If you’ve examined something successfully, you’ll be able to choose the correct solution and turn off the hazard blocking the path. Even if you aren’t successful, you will narrow down the options.
You can decide to wing it and keep trying different solutions. However, this can cause problems, such as your Sim being shot with a dart or being sprayed with poison.
Once you’ve solved the last puzzle, your Sim can enter a special treasure roomwith sparkling walls. Inside is the gilded chest. Click on it to open it, and you’ll get the Omiscan Treasure.
There is only one gilded chest per excursion to the temple.To find all the Omiscan Treasures, you’ll need to visit The Temple multiple times.Leave the lot and come back another day.

Cetlcitli Jeweled Calendar Plate
Omisca Commemorative Plate 5 of 5. When you need to show off your wealth you need this plate. Solid gold and covered in rare gems.

Go to your Sim’s Inventory and hit the Household Collections button. Scroll down to find Omiscan Treasures.
Your Sim will receive theTreasure Hunter Plaqueif they manage to complete the collection.
