When you’re facing a challenging fight or encounter inBaldur’s Gate 3, one thing that can help turn the tides in your favour is granting your characters different buffs. Each member of your party can enjoy the effects of multiple buffs at a time, provided the conditions don’t cancel out or override each other.
These buffs can be obtained via spells cast by members of your party, or from different magical sources in Faerun. You can enjoy buffs for a certain period of time. Some conditions last for a few turns, while others can last until your next Long Rest.

How To Use Hirelings For Casting Daily Buffs
Casting spells to get buffs may use up a spell slot. This will limit the number of buffs a spellcaster can grant a character. One workaround is touse the hirelingsyou can get from Withersto cast the spells for you.
You’ll first need to have Withers in your camp to have the option to recruit hirelings. Decide on what kind of buffsyou want to cast on your traveling party daily, then build a hireling that can learn those spells.
After every long rest, have that hireling join your party. Use the hireling to go around camp and cast spells on your chosen party members. The targets don’t have to be in your party to gain the buff.
Once everyone is all buffed up,you can dismiss the hirelingandgo on your quest.
