As you explore the vast worldGenshin Impacthas to offer, you will often find yourself making your characters as strong as possible to help you forge through the challenges facing you. When it comes to character talents, materials can be a bit difficult to get your hands on, especially those that are not as readily available for you to just grab.
Being one such material, a Crown of Insight can be a very prized possession. It is true they get offered quite frequently during events, but it is often at a super low rate, which can stretch out the already lengthy process of crowning a character.

What Are Crowns Of Insight?
ACrown of Insightis aspecial talent level-up materialthat allows you to level a talent to its maximum level. These materials arenot easily found in the overworld, thus making them exceedingly rare.
Each talent will needone Crown of Insight to reach the last level of ascension, meaning that to fully max a character, you will needthree crowns.

How To Get Crowns Of Insight
Version updates usually bring along aflagship event with many rewards to be claimed. Participating in these events by completing theassociated quests and completing minigamesgives you the opportunity to accumulate points, which you may then exchange for a variety of rewards likePrimogems,Mora, talent or weapon ascension materials, elemental stones, etc.
Crowns of Insight are so rare thatyou will usually only get one per version update, unless two major events happen during both phases of an update. Though this happens rather frequently, it is alsopossible that an event will not offer a Crown of Insight as a reward.

Each major event usually offersoneCrown of Insight, though it is always the highest tier reward and thus requires that youaccumulate many points.
The other way in which you may collect this powerful resource is byinteracting with certain special locationsthroughout Teyvat. Each nation will generally have a specific location where you canexchange certain materials for rewards, and Crowns of Insight are included in some of these collections you’re able to claim, albeitrather sparingly.

Crowns of Insight arenot exactly a finite resource, although very few exist as permanent claimable rewards in the game. You willusually rely on events as your main sourcefor obtaining this material.
To get your hands on some Crowns of Insight outside of an event, you should head to one of the following locations:

Each of these places will offer a finite amount of Crowns of Insightyou can claim as part of a reward system unique to each nation. Most of them will have youexchange the nation’s sigils for rewards, save for the first location, the Frostbearing Tree, which has its own unique system.
Sigils can be obtained throughregular exploration mechanics. The most common way to find some is byopening chests throughout a nation, but you can also gain some sigils fromcompleting one-time domains.

The Frostbearing Tree
The Frostbearing tree is thefirst special location you will find as you progress through the nation of Mondstat. It is located in the heart of the Snow Covered Path in the frozen mountain of Dragonspine, and claiming its rewards requires some serious hard work as you will need to collecta large sum of Crimson Agateto offer to the tree.
Once you reach level 11in the Frostbearing Tree’s Gratitude system, you will be able toclaim a Crown of Insight. This tree only grantsone Crown in total.
Each level of the Frostbearing treerequires an offering of tenCrimson Agate, which are fairly spread out over the entire surface of the mountain.
Some Crimson Agate arehidden behind certain puzzlesor can only be accessedafter you finish Dragonspine’s main quest line, either partially or as a whole.
The Sacred Sakura
The Sacred Sakura treeislocated on Narukami Island. As the main part of Inazuma’s filth cleansing system, the Sacred Sakura also serves as thecenterpiece of the Grand Narukami Shrine.
This tree representsa huge part of the Inazuma arc, but you don’t need to do anything special to unlock it. Once you manage to get to Inazuma, and get out of Ritou through following the quest, you can just climb Mt. Yougou and you willgain access to the tree and with it, to the Sacred Sakura’s Favor, which is this location’s reward system.
To obtain rewards from the tree, you will need tocollect and offerElectro Sigils. Every reward tier requires 25 Electro Sigils, and onlytiers ending in five(five, 15, 25, 35, 45) will grant a Crown of Insight for a total of five collectable crowns.
The Tree Of Dreams
The Tree of Dreams isanother point of interest where you can exchange Sigils for rewards. This tree is located in the Sumeru Forest, and it is not as easily accessible as the game’s earlier locations.
To unlock the Tree of Dreams, you will need tocomplete a part of theAranyakaquest line. The only way to get to the tree is through helping the Aranara in Dream Vanarana, and you can only gain access to this sub-location byobtaining a score from an Aranara called Aranaduring part I of this questline.
Getting there is the most tedious part. However, you canaccess the tree from Dream Vanarana or Real Vanarana at any timeafterwards, and the Sigil exchange system isjust as straightforward as the Sacred Sakura’s system.
The Tree of Dreams' exchange system is called Vanarana’s Favor. This sytem requires that you exchange35Dendro sigilsfor each reward tier, and like the Sacred Sakura, the only tiers to grant Crowns of Insight as rewards are thetiers ending in five, for a total offive obtainable Crowns.
Gathering sigils in Sumeru can be quite the challenge because the nation is so big, and becausethe Tree of Dreams has such high exchange rates. It is best to rely on other locations if possible.
The Fountain Of Lucine
The Fountain of Lucine is Fontaine’s contributionto the distinct points of interest in Teyvat. It is located by the Opera Epiclese, and though you can access it pretty much since you set foot in the nation of Hydro, you will not be able to engage with the system right away.
To unlock the Fountain of Lucine’s Accolades, you mustcomplete the first act of Fontaine’s Archon Quest. After you have done so,simply walking by the fountainwill prompt an interaction, after which you will be able toofferHydro Sigilsin exchange for rewards.
The Fountain of Lucine requires 30 Hydro sigils per reward tier, and like most other points of interest, it only offers Crowns of Insight as rewards for thetiers ending in five, for a total of five Crowns you can collect.
